The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen(CUHKSZ) was founded in accordance with the Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Chinese-foreign Cooperation in Running Schools upon approval by the Ministry of Education. It strives to explore a new path of higher education featured by strong connections to both China and the world. CAS is the top academic research organization of P. R. China. This defines the mission of the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science, CAS(AMSS): pursuing fundamental research of the highest level on mathematical sciences and their applications and related interdisciplinary study; high-level training in mathematical sciences; providing consulting reports to the authorities on certain issues related to mathematical sciences and their applications; playing a leading role in advanced study of mathematics in China; and becoming a mathematical research center of global influence. 

Shenzhen Big Data Research Institute(SRIBD), CUHKSZ, and AMSS will engage in long-term collaboration, leveraging their respective strengths for joint innovation in areas such as computational mathematics and statistics. They will collaborate on project or research proposal submissions, conduct research activities, and cooperate in technical collaboration, technical outsourcing, and technology transfer. The collaboration will also extend to joint talent development and academic exchange between faculty and students. Additionally, they will jointly establish laboratories in the fields of computational mathematics, statistics, and more. The partners will work together to organize seminars, academic conferences, and other cooperative activities.
