SRIBD PhD Scholarship is established to select and reward outstanding CUHKSZ PhD students in big data related fields. Scholarship recipients should be granted RMB 5,000 per month (before-tax) from September to next August. The program opens for application in every August. 2022-2023 SRIBD PhD Scholarship Program is now open for application. Welcome to join the program.

Eligibility:

1. Applicant should be CUHKSZ PhD student;

2. Applicant should have at least one supervisor from SRIBD;

3. The research area of each PhD student must be related to the scope of SRIBD and the lab;

Please place all your application documents into one compress file with the name of “SRIBD PhD Scholarship Application_Your Name_CUHKSZ School Name_School Numer” (eg. “SRIBD PhD Scholarship Application_Si Li_SSE_ SSE_221012345” to education@sribd.cn.

*The application deadline is 24:00, 14^th August, 2022.

How to apply:

1. Find an SRIBD supervisor and communicate with the lab director;

2. Prepare the application documents and submit before the deadline;

3. The documents will be reviewed by the committee;

4. Those who have passed the application documents evaluation will attend an interview;

5. Those who passed the interview will be considered as a participant of SRIBD PhD Scholarship Program whose performance will be reviewed annually by the committee to determine the continuation of the support.

Reminder:

1. SRIBD PhD Scholarship Program and CUHKSZ-SRIBD Joint PhD Program are two individual programs. Students can be involved in only one of the two programs;

2. SRIBD PhD Scholarship Program opens for applications from CUHKSZ PhD students. Students participated in projects of SRIBD, or belong to one of the SRIBD research division will be preferred during the selection;
