On August 20th, the Doctoral and Postdoctoral Daoyuan Academic Forum of the Shenzhen Research Institute of Big Data (SRIBD) was successfully held. The forum received strong support and active participation from Ph.D. students and postdoctoral researchers from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. 

With the generous support from Huawei's "CHASPARK", the 2nd forum has expanded its call for papers and established a project incentive fund. It has also undergone comprehensive upgrades in terms of event processes, selection criteria, and reward amounts.

Following the conclusion of the forum, the awarded papers will be published on the "CHASPARK Website" (www.chaspark.net), allowing the collision of ideas and exploration of issues to continue beyond the event.

The forum was attended by distinguished guests, including Academician Luo Zhiquan, the Academic Vice President of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen and the Director of SRIBD; Executive Director Lee Ping; Executive Vice Director Cui Shuguang; and Academician Zhang Rui, the President's Chair Professor of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen.

In addition to scientists serving as judges and Ph.D. students and postdoctoral researchers participating in presentations, the forum also attracted a large number of researchers to take part.

Ph.D. students Zhang Yushun and Huang Kun secured the first and second place, respectively, in the oral presentation category. Meanwhile, from the same school, Qiu Junwen and Ouyang Yidong achieved first and second place, respectively, in the poster presentation category.
