Through Big Data and AI methods, collect and analyze campus data to improve campus management and student experience.

Importance/impact, challenges/pain points

Modern campus generated a large amount of data from computer systems and smart devices, organizing these data and performing in-depth analysis can identify and quantify student behavior patterns and anomaly, facilitating personalized education. 

Solution description

After desensitizing campus WiFi usage trajectories, apply data mining and AI methods to detect behavior patterns.

Key contribution/commercial implication

Monitor attendance in CUHKSZ automatically， whose results has been adopted in assisting students in need.

Raise the issue of fair comparison of attendance and propose the Relative Attendance Index to solve the problem.
