BIOGRAPHY
Chao Shen is currently an Associate Professor, Chair of the Research Administration Office in Shenzhen Research Institute of Big Data. He received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Signal and Information Processing and Electronic and Computer Engineering from Beijing Jiaotong University in 2003 and 2012, respectively. Dr. Shen conducted postdoctoral research at State Key Laboratory of Rail Traffic Control and Safety (Beijing Jiaotong University) since 2013, and conducted research as a visiting scholar at the University of Maryland, Parker, USA from February 2014 to February 2015.He has been an associate professor of State Key Laboratory of Rail Traffic Control and Safety (Beijing Jiaotong University) since 2015, and a visiting scholar of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) since 2017.
Dr. Shen has published more than 70 papers in IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, IEEE Globecom/ICC and other journals and conferences, and has undertaken more than 30 NSFC projects, NSFC key projects, National Key R&D Programs of China, Huawei and other industry-academia research projects. Currently, Dr. Shen's research interests are focused on the optimal design of wireless communication systems and networks.
