2025-2026 SRIBD Doctoral Scholarship
To advance the talent cultivation program in the field of big data, the Shenzhen Research Institute of Big Data (SRIBD), in collaboration with The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen), has jointly launched the “SRIBD Doctoral Scholarship.” This program supports jointly supervised PhD students from CUHK-Shenzhen, SRIBD and SICIAM. It aims to identify and cultivate innovative, interdisciplinary talents with a global perspective, advancing research in cutting-edge interdisciplinary fields including network optimization, artificial intelligence, operations research, and scientific computing.
This year’s scholarship program is open to outstanding PhD students and postdoctoral researchers worldwide. Selected candidates will receive full tuition support and comprehensive training under the guidance of top-tier research teams. Applicants are expected to demonstrate strong academic potential and innovative thinking, with research topics aligned with the core development directions of SRIBD and SICIAM.
Applications for the 2025–2026 scholarship program are now officially open. Interested candidates can visit the SRIBD official website for more details. The application deadline is July 10, 2025. Registration
Applicant should be CUHK-Shenzhen PhD student ;
Applicant should have supervisor from CUHK-Shenzhen and SRIBD, and the application should be approved by the director of research center;
The research area of each PhD student must be related to the scope of SRIBD and the research center.

Recommendation of SRIBD researchers and other supplementary documents.
Applicants are requested to compile their application materials into a single package and name the file as follows:

Application Procedures
· Find an SRIBD supervisor and communicate with the research center director;
· Prepare the application documents and submit before the deadline;
· The documents will be reviewed by the committee;
· Those who have passed the evaluation will be considered as a participant of Joint PhD Program whose performance will be reviewed annually by the committee to determine the continuation of the support.
Notice
· Applicants should make sure that their applications are acknowledged and approved by both the SRIBD supervisors and the research center directors and the committee will review the applicants' qualifications and conduct assessments;
